Taiwan – Part 3 – Last Day – Bye!

We took the high speed train to Taipei from Kaoshiung.  We have to catch the plane the next morning, so we decided to go to the famous world soybean milk restaurant and find the famous leaning post boxes.  After we found the 2 last things we wanted to see before leaving Taiwan, we rented bikes at the last minute to get back to our hostel by 10 pm.  Bikes are easy to rent in Taiwan w/ the Easy Card and U Bike.  The traffic was not very congested, the streets were pretty safe, and we ended up seeing a lot of the tourist sites at night, but not very many pictures.

U-Bike Rental:   The sign up for bike rentals was so easy and there are a ton of rental stations everywhere in the city.  Easy ~3 mile ride to the hostel.

I will miss Taiwan.  I really like it here!  Hey Meg – I found the famous dried plum Taiwanese candy!  They have a brown sugar version now!
